The III Italian National Plan for childhood 2010-2011 was published on the Official Journal of the 9th May 2011. The Plan foresees legislative, programming and operational actions and initiatives, that will commit national, regional and local Authorities in the promotion and protection of the rigths of children and adolescents, in accordance with the Convention on the right of the Child of the United Nations.

The priorities of the Plan are the following:

• Strenghtening the services network and combat social exclusion
• Strenghtening the rights protection
• Fostering the participation for the creation of an intergenerational pact
• Promoting the interculturality
